"The /Triangle/Circle/Square is Sengai's picture of the universe. The circle represents the infinite...

But the infinite in itself is formless. We humans endowed with senses and intellect demand tangible forms.

Hence a triangle. The triangle is the beginning... A square is the triangle doubled... The Universe.”

EKD Gallery is delighted to present

Phase I of Triangle/Circle/Square

an exhibit of work by Erin Reid, Karen Reid, and Don Munson.

Inspired by words “The Universe,”  by the Japanese monk Sengai Gibon, these artists explore the infinity

of an artistic process using the basic three tangible forms.

Our trinity is Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master.

They explore their individualism and its limitless possibilities in these forms.

Nine new works by each artist include three triangles, three circles, and three squares.

Each shape is unframed measures at 24” in length/diameter.

A rotating show, they display three new works each month.

The exhibition will be on view from January 26, 2021 through March 30, 2021

online at www.ekdgallery.com.    All artwork is available for acquisition.
